MARIANNAS VINELEAVES

Since Day 1, we have paid special attention to the quality of our products and the safety during the production process. For this reason, we meticulously apply daily quality controls, during the acceptance and quality control of all raw materials. We also apply traceability information throughout the supply chain. As a result, we have been certified according to ISO22000:2005 since 2008 by the internationally respected Lloyd’s Registry of Quality Assurance.


One of our highest priorities has always been the respect to Nature and to our customers’ health. For this reason we applied organic farming practices to all our crops: be it grapes, olives or fig trees. Certified since 1996, we are scrutinized quarterly by BioHellas for the strict application of organic farming practices through and through our production line.
Starting with a small production of a mere 500 jars in the beginning of the ‘90s, Marianna’s Vineleaves are nowadays exported to all European countries, North America and Japan. They are also the vineleaves of choice for countless households and professionals in Greece. It is our pride that “Halkidiki Vineleaves”, as many call our leaves, are now synonymous to good vineleaves. Our constant good quality and their unmatched tenderness make Marianna’s Vineleaves a prerequisite for successful Ntolmadakia.
Always listening to our customers, we welcomed their suggestion to roll the Ntolmadakia – or vineleaf wrap with rice – so as to save them the trouble of rolling it themselves. We innovated once more and provide a wrapped, deep-frozen ntolmadaki, allowing them to cook it the way they want. In this way, our customers enjoy an always fresh product, cooked according to their liking (not ours). Marianna’s Ntolmadakia are hand-made, using a home recipe and using fresh ingredients. One only needs to boil for 20 minutes and refrain from eating from the pan!
Marianna’s Pies are prepared by the women’s association “Goniatisses” in our village, Nea Gonia. Under the vigilant eye of Marianna Kazakis and using her recipes, Marianna’s Pies are 100% hand-made and incorporate the philosophy of all our products: top quality, top taste traditional products offering the uncompromised flavor and relieving the cook from the trouble.
In our organic vineyards, we produce everything the Greek sun offers – except wine. We also process the production of other organic farmers to offer, among other foods, our tender vinetops, fig and pumpkin retseli (sweets based on grape syrup), marmalades and comfitures.


All our products are also sold in our retail shop, at our factory. We enforce an open-doors policy throughout the year and we welcome families and their friends, but also organize visits from schools and tourist groups. Further, we are a proud member of the Wines of Northern Greece association.
